Including your pet on your big day is going to be pretty spectacular, let's face it. The photo's will be adorable, & very natural -so long as your horse doesn't get spooked by a tractor only to gallop off across a field tangled in your dress.
Your pet is an extension of yourselves; an excellent bridge in your relationship. They bring you together, make you laugh & never call you fat. So give a little something back & show them how much you appreciate their existence.
Here's two things to seriously consider:
Practicality. Who is going to take your pet sparrow hawk home after the photo shoot? How will you get your cat there? Has Fido eaten yet, its gone 4pm?! Are any of your guests allergic to fur?
Behaviour. If you are keeping your dog with you all day, is it behaved enough not to pee on the pageboy or carve out a paw full of cake? Will your Dalmatian puppy sit still enough for a photo or will you stress the f**k out? 'SIT WALLY, I SAID SIIIIT'
We've found some very inspirational, if a little impractical examples of just how flipping awesome it would be to have say, your pet baby lamb at your wedding. If you don't have a pet baby lamb, then you could always go down to your local farm & borrow one for your wedding photos. The farmer will totally understand your creative vision, they get asked alllll the time.
